About Vijay M. Sharma, M.D., M.P.H.
Dr. Sharma was born and raised in Maryland. He attended The George Washington University as part of the inaugural class of the combined BS/MD Program. After graduating Medical School with Distinction, Dr. Sharma traveled to Tulane University in New Orleans. At Tulane, he completed residency in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. In 2003 and 2004, Dr. Sharma served as a chief Resident Otolaryngology at the world famous Charity Hospital of New Orleans.
After residency, Dr. Sharma completed the prestigious Glasgold fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. It was here that Dr. Sharma honed his eye for facial beauty and refined his decision making and surgical skills for Facial Plastic Surgery. Dr. Sharma has performed thousands of Facial Plastic Surgery procedures.
Dr. Sharma’s professional interest include Facial Rejuvenation with an emphasis on maintaining a healthy and natural appearance. He is an expert on Rhinoplasty, having been influenced by world leaders in this field. He also has vast experience with face and eye rejuvenation. In addition to traditional surgical management, Dr. Sharma is an expert in Office-Based Procedures and Minimally Invasive Techniques.
